Taylor Municipal Airport

Taylor Municipal Airport is located on Highway 79 west of downtown Taylor. The Airport is an important component of economic development for the City of Taylor and the region. The Texas Department of Transportation Aviation Division has classified the airport as a general utility business service airport. Airport rules and regulations are available here.

Airport fly-in events are scheduled several times a year and include aircraft from around the region. For additional information on these events, please contact David Cornelius or call the Airport at 512-352-5747.

Airport Advisory Board

The Airport Advisory Board is a seven-member city board that makes recommendations to City Council regarding the operations of the municipal airport. Their input ensures that the airport meets the needs of the city and the flying community. This Board meets the third Tuesday of each month.

   The runway and taxiway will be closed  from Monday, July 17th until Friday, July 21st to finish the markings and striping on the runway and taxiway. Additional pavement work around the new hangar and reconstruction of the pavement between the C/D and E hangars will begin on July 17th as well and should be completed by July 20th.

 Continue to monitor T74 NOTAMs for the latest closure information. All projects are scheduled to be completed by mid August.
