Animal Control Officer - Part Time
Performs tasks related to the enforcement of animal control laws within the City of Taylor.  Educates the community about stray or vicious animals and related diseases; operates the animal holding facility; captures, impounds, relocates, and when necessary, disposes of animals; and maintains records.  Investigates animal complaints.  Issues citations for violation of City of Taylor ordinances as permitted by ordinance or applicable state law.  Prepares reports as appropriate.  Testify in court as directed.

Code Enforcement Officer
The City of Taylor is seeking a qualified applicant for a Code Enforcement Officer.  This position ensures that all existing properties meet zoning, building and nuisance codes; works to ensure that existing buildings are in compliance with same.
