Animal Control Officer - Part Time  
Performs tasks related to the enforcement of animal control laws within the City of Taylor.  Educates the community about stray or vicious animals and related diseases; operates the animal holding facility; captures, impounds, relocates, and when necessary, disposes of animals, and maintains records. Investigates animal complaints.  Issues citations for violation of City of Taylor ordinances as permitted by ordinance or applicable state law.  Prepares reports as appropriate.  Testifies in court as needed.

Human Resources Director
Administers or coordinates all human resource management functions including recruitment and processing of all new employees; compensation, benefits and employee relations, and ensures programs, records and procedures comply with all federal and state laws governing such personnel practices; compiles and analyzes data and makes recommendations to City Council and management concerning all human resource related matters.  Serves as the Civil Service Director; secretary to the Civil Service Commission; performs work incidental to the civil service system as required by the Commission and Chapter 143 of the Texas Local Government Code.
