Facilities Project Updates - Week of March 17, 2025

Justice Center

• March 4, 2025 – HDR is working on documentation for 2^nd Street closure and abandonment. Working with local business owners to reroute truck delivery traffic around the Justice Center. Utility removals are ongoing.

Cemetery Office Building

• March 4, 2025 – Working through cultural resources requirements from the Texas Historical Commission.

Backup Generators for Critical Facilities

• March 11, 2025 – The Animal Shelter will be completed today. City Hall will be done in 2 phases to reduce possibility for outage during work hours on Friday the 21^st and Friday the 28^th. 

Airport Ramp Reconstruction

• March 11, 2025 – Phase 4 of the airport ramp reconstruction is fully milled and limed. 

Airport Fuel Farm Construction (Complete)

• Project Complete - A ribbon cutting will be scheduled soon.

Fire Stations 1 and 2 Renovation

• March 11, 2025 – Final plans have been delivered. Cost estimates are under review.
