Taylor Police to Host “Coffee with a Cop”

TAYLOR, Texas –The Taylor Police Department and Lozano's Restaurant have joined forces to hold an informal time for residents to meet and talk with officers over a cup of coffee. The eighth edition of “Coffee with a Cop” is set for Wednesday, October 16, 2019, from 8:30 AM to 10 AM at Lozano's, 300 W. 2nd Street.

The Taylor Police Department plans to hold these informal gatherings each quarter at different locations throughout Taylor.

The public can come by and get a free cup of coffee during the event.

“We are appreciative of Lozano’s supportive efforts to host our 8th quarterly ‘Coffee with a Cop’ event,” said TPD Chief Henry Fluck. “The Taylor Police Department looks forward to visiting with residents in an informal setting to discuss crime or safety issues. We are encouraging residents to meet with us and enjoy a free cup of coffee compliments of our host, Lozano's".

Taylor Police Officers will come and go throughout the 90-minute period, according to Chief Fluck. Opportunities for the public to take photos with officers will be available.
