The Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) will begin the Highway 95 paving project by setting of barricades and road signage on Sunday, June 4 to alert the public of upcoming work. The road repair will extend from Second Street north along Main Street to TH Johnson Drive.
Pavement repair work begins on Sunday, June 11, and the public is asked to drive with caution in the construction area for the safety of workers.
The project will include the tasks of milling, sealing, overlay, cleaning and sealing of joints before final road striping. The road work is expected to be complete by Thursday, July 20, depending on weather conditions during the repair process.
The Highway 95 project is fully funded and managed by TXDOT.
